ASYMPTOMATIC CAROTID STENOSIS

We review criteria for use of carotid endarterectomy (CEA) in asymptomatic or other interventional techniques.

The selection of these patient happens to have a low morbidity, younger 75 yeard, low risk of surgical complications in the middle and high risk of stroke in the case of opting for conservative treatment.

Cases of over 75 years is necessary to note the progression of stenosis or high risk of embolism with low surgical risk.
